Alice CandorPlanting onions suggests a movement toward the soil of your own history, where you begin the slow work of preparing the ground for what you have long kept beneath the surface. This dream points to a desire to touch the old pains you have pushed down, as if you are finally ready to dig into the dirt to find the source of what you have kept out of sight.
The act of tending to these hidden layers may feel like a heavy undertaking, for the soil often holds the weight of things that are difficult to face. You might find that the process of uncovering these depths is a way of honoring the parts of your life that have been left unexamined. You are making room in your own life for the things you have not yet spoken, allowing the truth to find its place in the dark.
Growing onions indicates that the process of integrating these old sorrows is already in motion, moving from a mere intention into a sustained period of internal development. This dream shows that the seeds of your awareness are actively pushing through the dark, turning the labor of looking inward into a living part of your present growth.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
