Alice CandorPlaying a video game acts as a way for you to test your own agency within a space where the stakes are kept safely away from your actual life. This dream suggests a movement toward seeking a sense of mastery through controlled trials, where the results of your actions do not carry the weight of real-world consequences. You may be looking for a way to practice your competence or to find a rhythm of cause and effect that feels more predictable than the world you inhabit.
The landscape of this dream might be a place where you seek to prove your capability through a series of small, manageable victories. You are navigating a terrain of artificial challenges to see how much influence you can exert when the boundaries are clearly defined. While this offers a way to refine your focus, it can also represent a tendency to withdraw into these safe loops of effort to avoid the messiness of true involvement. The shadow of this movement is the risk of spending your vitality on pursuits that leave no lasting mark on your reality. You are refining a skill in a vacuum, much like a player mastering a world that will vanish when the screen goes dark.
Playing video games with someone shifts the focus from your own private mastery to a shared rhythm of engagement. This detail suggests that your need for distraction or competition is no longer a solitary retreat, but a way of connecting through the mediation of a rule-bound environment.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a video game
I was playing a game where it feels like I am inside the video game world watching things happen from third person. The game is a battle royale set in Sengoku period of Japan. I saw a character who is a samurai fall off into a river in a night town, then another being hunted down by ninjas in a dark forest. Scene changes to the shop where you can roll for characters at random. My roll came as a long boat with food items on, a girl reveals each item, I got Oda Nobunaga who is a girl in the game.
Dear Reader,
Your dream is a symbol for wishes, choices and confrontation. This dream denotes you wished you had a little more time with them. You need to keep in mind that the choices you make with effect those around you. You are not confronting an issue from your past.
I was playing a video game similar to Civilization VI, with a friend of mine who is a fathre of 2 kids in real life. It was a strategy game where you build a city and invade other player’s cities. I was new to the game and swiftly lost to other players. There were characters in game such as sea giants, skills such as supernova and red blackhole. Scene changes to me reading news on sports, not sure if it is baseball or football. From the news only Tennessee, Texas, and Utah team made it to finals
Dear Reader,
Your dream draws attention to adaptation, projects and goals. This dream states you need to adapt and incorporate what you have learned in the past to the present. There is nothing to show for all the effort that you have dedicated to a project or relationship. Sometimes you have to depend on others in order to achieve a goal or to move up in life.
