Alice CandorThe sweetness of plums suggests a movement toward the immediate gratification of a desire that has been held in reserve. This dream may point to an impulse to grasp at a sudden gain, a sudden influx of pleasure that feels easily won and requires little struggle.
You might find yourself navigating the tension between the desire for easy harvest and the reality of what is truly sustainable. You may be looking at a bright, brief joy that offers itself up only to disappear. A sudden windfall is the shadow that follows this sweetness. The capacity to recognize these fleeting moments of grace is already yours.
When you are eating plums in a dream, the focus shifts from the possibility of gain to the actual consumption of a moment. This action intensifies the sense of immediate absorption, as if you are trying to pull the essence of a fleeting joy entirely into yourself.
The movement of picking plums changes the dream by putting the tools of the harvest in your hands. You are no longer waiting for a gift to arrive, but are instead stepping forward to claim the sweetness you see before you.
A dark or black plum alters the tone of the dream by introducing a weight that the main dream lacks. The color pulls the sweetness toward something more somber, suggesting that the profit or pleasure you contemplate may be shadowed by an underlying sense of loss or a truth that is not easily swallowed.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
