Alice CandorSearching for clothes is an attempt to negotiate the boundary between your private self and the world that observes you. This dream may suggest that you are currently navigating the ways in which you wish to be recognized or the manner in which you present your character to others. You are trying to decide how to stand before others and what parts of your honor you are ready to show.
The dream shows an instability when you realize that you cannot find anything to cover yourself. This lack of coverage suggests a period where your usual methods of protecting your reputation or your social identity feel insufficient. You might be experiencing a moment where the masks you typically wear no longer feel like they fit the person you are becoming. Your ability to find a way to hold yourself with grace is what this search is trying to settle.
Not finding clothes to wear brings a feeling of being unprotected against the gaze of the world. This state of nakedness in the dream points to a vulnerability that you may be feeling in your waking life, as if your internal defenses have been stripped away.
The act of looking for clothes indicates that you are actively preparing for a new way of being seen. This movement shows that you are already engaged in the work of deciding which parts of your character to offer to the light.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
