Dream about speaking in tongues

Speaking in tongues is a movement where your inner truths find a way past the fences of your conscious logic. This dream suggests that there is a current of expression within you that does not rely on the structures of your usual reasoning, a flow that seeks to testify to something that your intellect has not yet learned to name.

The way this expression breaks through might feel like a loss of control over your own voice, as if the words are no longer your property but are instead a tide pulling at your throat. You may find that what is being said is a testimony that bypasses the filters of your social self, revealing a depth of conviction that your waking mind might find difficult to translate into certainties. This dream might signal a moment where the clarity of your intended meaning is eclipsed by the sheer force of an impulse to be heard. You possess a capacity for a truth that is wider than the vocabulary you have built for yourself.

Praying in tongues is a reaching through the dark, where you abandon the safety of known speech to touch a truth that cannot be held by thought alone.

Speaking in tongues for the first time marks a threshold of discovery, indicating that this specific current of expression is a new arrival in your inner life. The novelty of the experience suggests that you are standing at the edge of a territory where your old ways of testifying are no longer sufficient to hold the weight of what you are feeling.
