Alice CandorWorking in a morgue suggests that you are currently directing your vital energy toward a part of your life that has already reached its conclusion. This movement of the mind often occurs when you are attempting to find purpose or meaning in something that is fundamentally finished and cannot be revitalized. You might be trying to arrange the pieces of a finished chapter, seeking to find a pattern in the silence of what is gone.
The effort you exert in this dream may feel like an attempt to make peace with a finality that you are not yet ready to fully inhabit. This process of committing yourself to the dead can act as a way to avoid the emptiness that follows a true ending. You may be pouring your current life into a space that has nothing left to give. Your capacity for dedication remains intact, even when the object of your focus has ceased to live. This dream is a mirror of your tendency to tend to the shadows of what once was, holding the stillness of the morgue as you work.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
