Alice CandorAn idol in your dream is the way you lean your weight against a conviction that has no substance. This movement suggests a tendency to offer your energy to a concept or an image that cannot hold the gravity of your actual life. You may be finding that the things you once looked to for stability are merely structures built to catch the light, leaving you to face the emptiness they were meant to fill.
The shadow of this dream is that you might be mistaking the shell for the truth, which leaves you standing before a void while you believe you are standing before a foundation. Such a pattern of devotion risks turning your focus away from the living reality of your own experience. You possess the capacity to recognize where the structure ends and where your own strength begins. This realization allows you to step away from the idol and find a footing that is truly your own.
Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
