Alice CandorBeing chased by an elephant suggests a movement where the weight of what you have known or the structures you inhabit begin to feel like an inescapable pressure. This dream often points to a sense that the vast, unyielding forces of your social or collective reality are no longer something you can walk beside, but something that is actively pursuing your inner peace.
The shadow of this pursuit might be the way you feel the massive scale of duties or histories that you once kept at a distance now pressing directly against you. You may find yourself feeling that the gravity of your own history or the expectations of the world are closing in, leaving little room for the lightness of being. There is a risk that the magnitude of these external pressures could overwhelm your capacity to navigate your own direction.
Facing what looms shows the capacity you already hold to stand before what is heavy. You are learning to move within the presence of a great and heavy truth.
An elephant chasing you turns the symbol from a static weight into a moving force, meaning the pressure you feel is an active energy that is gaining on you. This dream shifts the focus from a state of being to a state of urgency, where the movement of the pursuit demands that you acknowledge the speed at which your circumstances are evolving.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
