Alice CandorDigging a tunnel is a movement through a time when your life narrows, forcing you to direct all your energy into the labor at hand. This dream suggests that you are currently navigating a narrowing of your options, a time when the breadth of your life seems to contract into a single, demanding direction. The effort you expend is not aimless, but is instead the very mechanism by which you carve out a space for your own passage.
The weight of this process may feel as though the walls are pressing closer, a sensation of being trapped by the very work you have undertaken. This pressure is the shadow of the effort, the inevitable friction that occurs when you attempt to force a way through resistance. This constriction removes the distractions of a wider world, leaving you to face the sheer necessity of your own persistence. You are finding that the depth of your progress is measured by the strength of your commitment to the dark, unyielding earth.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
